Divya Subbiah

Divya is a writer and filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. Aside from Periphery, she's had work featured in Keke Magazine and Ampersand LA, the latter of which she's also currently a co-Editor in Chief. In 2024, Divya co-founded Boxer and Baker Productions, a film outfit dedicated to supporting authentic, off-the-beaten-path stories from underrepresented artists. Divya is an unapologetic country music listener (amongst other genres), simultaneous-multi-book reader (she takes forever to finish any of them), and has seen “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” every year since she turned 11 (and she doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon).
